My writing, and where you can find it

Along the left side, you can find three categories of links: stories that have been published in print; stories that have been published in online magazines; and stories that are available here on this site. (There's also a list of works in progress, but they're not links.) Some appear in multiple categories, because I am all for getting as much use out of your work as you can.

Some of them are really old. To a Father in Clarksburg, in its original form, was written many years ago in high school. Others were written in college. One of my novels-in-progress, Red Water, had its first incarnation in middle school and is now in its fifth or sixth. I tend to start a story, let it sit neglected on my hard drive for months or years, then come back and finish it after I've had some insight or simply after I've come across it while backing up my files. But in spite of the age of some of these stories, I won't post anything online that I'm completely ashamed of.

I will be moving some stories onto this site if/when the magazines where they're currently located go down, so please let me know if any of the links are broken. (You can reach a handy contact form via that link up on the navbar.) Also, stories located on this site will be available in printer-friendly PDF format, and may have author's notes linked to them.
